Music Health and Wellbeing

Music Health and Wellbeing brings together the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music’s research leadership in music therapy, music psychology and music education. Music therapy is the application of this knowledge in professional practice with people in hospitals, schools and community settings. Music psychology provides foundational understandings about how and why music can be used to influence the mind, the body and our relationships with others. Together, these disciplines contribute novel solutions to some of the most challenging health and wellbeing problems facing society.
